Business Development Manager

Position

The Business Development Manager role is a newly created position intended to support, maintain, and grow the network of end-users, consultants, and contractors in all active markets.

The Aeris Global management team is based in Wanaka, but the successful candidate could operate from anywhere in New Zealand.

Company

Aeris Global is a Wanaka-based wastewater aeration specialist servicing industrial and municipal clients throughout Australasia, with companies in New Zealand and Australia.

Aeris Global Limited deals directly with the market in New Zealand, and Melbourne-based Aeris Global Australia Pty Limited services Australia.

Aeris Global developed and manufactures the unique aerdisc® Directional Aerator, which has proven exceptionally popular in New Zealand and Australia.

Aeris Global also represents the interests of Aquasystems International N.V. in Australasia. Aquasystems is headquartered in Halle, Belgium and has a second manufacturing plant in Arkansas, USA. Aquasystems is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of water and wastewater treatment equipment, focusing on mechanical aerators, mixers, and decanters.

Aeris Global designs and manufactures a wide range of complementary products and accessories from its comprehensive Wanaka manufacturing facility. The company produces everything required for installation, operation, maintenance, and safe access. And provides a complete range of field services from basic supervision to full installation and commissioning.

Applicant

The role would suit candidates from diverse backgrounds because a client-centric attitude is the primary attribute and is at the core of Aeris Global culture. The goal is to provide clients with a positive experience and build long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. The successful candidate will be focused and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

It is envisaged candidates will currently work in a business development role or have done so in the recent past. A proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies is essential.

A background in the wastewater industry, or associated service industries, would be beneficial but is not essential; full training will be provided. Finding the right client service/business development skills and attitude is of far greater importance.

Package

A competitive remuneration package is offered to the right candidate. This will include an attractive salary plus KiwiSaver, company vehicle, and performance bonus.
