Central Otago DC, Alexandra Wastewater Treatment Plant, Aeration and Mixing Upgrade project is up and running.
Aeris Global designed and manufactured the system incorporating five Aquaturbo Model AER-AS Floating Surface Aerators with fully-articulated swing-arms and two bridge-mounted Wilo Submersible Mixers. The swing-arms allow each aerator to rotate to the wall for ease of access. Each aerator and mixer operates through a variable frequency drive to provide infinitely variable tapered aeration around the annulus.
The upgrade was carried out in association with the exceptional team at Fulton Hogan Central.
